It is our aim for our centres to become an integral part of our local community. We already work as part of a much wider multi agency team working to support the families in our catchment area but we are always interested in linking up more with other providers. The local community is represented on our advisory board by a number of local parents, professionals and childcare practitioners.
We currently work closely with our local health partners, adult and family learning providers, community groups supporting the Lambeth Food Flagship Programme, volunteer’s organisations, employability support organisations.
Our children centre teachers aim to work closely with all the private, voluntary and independent childcare providers in our catchment area.
Support offered includes:
- Local network support
- Termly quality assurance visits (upon request)
- Email advice
- Regular newsletter and sector updates
- Practice share events
- OFSTED advice and support
